Ensure your designs maintain intended hues from screen to print
Additive light-based color
Computer monitors use RGB light to create colors. Screens have a larger color range than printers can reproduce.
Subtractive ink-based color
Printers use CMYK ink. When RGB files are converted, color shifting occurs because some colors can't be reproduced.
The Result: Files submitted in RGB format will experience color shifting when converted to CMYK for printing. Bright, vibrant screen colors may appear more muted in print.
